Big Finish’s final print collection of Doctor Who stories is the usual grab bag of varied quality. The spine of the collection is a serious of fake letters to the various producers of Doctor Who by Gareth Roberts – it’s a good joke initially, but the trouble is that it’s one repetitive joke stretched through an entire collection. Highlights include Phoenix, with James Goss providing his usual ingenious twist, and the fantasy oriented The Science Of Magic. ( )
