This book was about the Hindenburg which was made in 1936. It is the worlds biggest airship. It's as big as an ocean liner, but it's lighter than air. It was build by the Zeppelin company in Germany for flights across the Atlantic Ocean. The Hindenburg carries a crew of 61. And the cooks, stewards, and cabin boys keep the passengers happy. the crazy thing is is that Adolf Hitler has provided them money for the Hindenburg. They took off and they were almost there when suddenly the airship blew up. luckily they were about to land because 62 out of 97 people survived the crash.

I thought this book was interesting in a way. The reason why I chose this book is because it took place in Germany and crash in New Jersey and those are the 2 places I lived in! This book is interesting because I never thought that it would just blow up randomly. And it is surprising that Hitler helped. And its surprising that most people made it. This book explained everything well and short. I would highly recommend this book for kids who like history.
