This is a cute little book about a little bear named Fred, who wants to take an egg from the water fowl and hatch it. His mother tells him it's not a good idea, so Fred finds an "abandoned egg" in an acorn, builds it a nest, and sits and sits (and sits) on it, waiting, waiting for it to "hatch," until his mother explains that an acorn "hatches" by burying it in the earth and leaving it alone, and that it will become a tree. I suppose the book could be used to illustrate the cycle of tree growth, but if you look much deeper than that you might miss the cute and simple story of the little bear named Fred, who has too much faith in an acorn. :) ( ) Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya
