A Dan Brown wannabe, his characters mimic those of Professor Langdon and female counterparts; in fact the central character's last name also beings with "L"; coincidence? Add to this far too much dialog and useless descriptive words, a predictable story and feeble attempt at achieving the likes of DaVinci Code or any other Brown stories, you have a big FAIL. Sorry Charles, but this ain't gonna get it in my opinion. Very interesting plot for a story but the writing is below average. The best part of these types of books are the details of how things are accomplished, unfortunately this rarely happens. Most often, when deciphering symbols or text, he just does, with no clues given as to how he might have come to his conclusions. Worst of all, the Mets lost every game while I was reading this, and that can't be a good omen for future books in this series. Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya

Four out of five stars - This book reminds me of Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code series. It's definitely a great spin on this genre and was very intriguing. I'm really interested in seeing how this series continues if I ever get my hands on the books! ( )
