Great descriptions of travelling Norh through central Oz. A Muslim wife going back over her relationships and life in Australia after the suicide of her husband. (

Hiam, of Arabic descent, lives in Adelaide with her husband and daughter. She has embarked on a road trip through the Centre to Darwin, and her physical journey reflects her growing isolation as her mental fragility worsens. This short novel is well written and provides some insights into Middle Eastern culture as community members come to grips with living in a new and to them very strange country. (

Navigating cultures, a woman slowly goes mad and her madness is reflected by her location. I really enjoyed this book and found it very poetic. (
