So many people
are too afraid to
pursue their ideas,
their hopes, their goals,
and their dreams,

so many people are too afraid

I listened to this on CD in my car. Perhaps I would have gotten more out of it if I'd read it rather than listened to it. I have had that happen with other Max Lucado books. I can't say I got a ton of new information out of this book that I didn't have before. If the subject is new to you, you might get more mileage out of this book/CD. ( )

Another Lucado book that helps to explain what God, through the Bible, has to say about living a faithful life in our crazy world. He has a way of addressing a serious topic (in this case it's fear) in an easy-to-understand and entertaining style. Encouragement, honesty, practical solutions for faith over fear. ( )

Max Lucado topically explores trusting God and releasing our fears to him. The study is not difficult and would be good for anyone going through a difficult time or prone to worry. The leader guide and DVD cover only six of the 15 chapters, and there are discussion questions at the end of each chapter in the book. Overall the materials were good (reviewed 4/9/2010, Lynn Jefson)
