He pretty much tells us the story of his career how he got his first dummy as a child as a Christmas present. How he had tried for years to make it onto TV and the creation of each of his characters. Jose the Jalapeño on a Stick was one of his first characters as well as Peanut, this after another character that he no longer uses. That Walter was sculpted by Jeff by him looking in a mirror and scowling. That the original Achmed was really based on Osama and had a dirty t-shirt wrapped around his head. Very entertaining book. Shows in maybe a little rose colored glasses look at Jeff's life. Very entertaining overall. Has numerous asides from the characters themselves as well as some of the jokes that we know and love of Jeff Dunham. I thought that this was a good book. It is by Jeff Dunham and it is about him. It tells how his life has been and what he does for a living, which is one of the reasons why he is famous. If you don't know who Jeff Dunham is, just look on the internet and type in his name then it will tell you that he is a famous ventrilaquist. He is getting close to fifty years old now and he has made money by being good at what he does. He is known as one of the most famous ventriliquists in the United States and maybe the world. I really like watching his UTube videos so I wanted to read this. This book takes a look at his life and lets you see how he grew up and how he got into the things that he did. I thought that it was a good book and that anyone that likes this kind of thing should read it. At the beginning of this book Jeff tells where he is at the present. That means he is talking about how he is famous and is getting a lot of money for basically being a commedian with puppets. During parts of this book they(the dummies) come in to make some different jokes and comments. After he is done he starts from the beginning of his life and tells how it was for him growing up. He talks about how he was a normal kid and that his parents were very supportive of him in everything that he did. Then he talks about his college and things that happened at school and some of the goals that he set for himself. He also talks about how he created and thought up the things that give him a job in the first place, his dummies. It was a book that lots of people would enjoy I know that I did and it is also new which adds a lot. Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya

Jeff Dunham and the little guys have done much to keep me sane through some very dark times. Seeing the underlying craft and dedication along with the highs and lows in a tough career makes all the laughs so much more powerful.
Kudos to Jeff and everyone who has helped bring such laughter and much needed perspective to life. Yes, including you Walter !!!!!
