Aquesta ressenya s'ha escrit per al programa Donatius de membres de LibraryThing. The thoughts behind this book, combined with the pictures scattered throughout, make for a very interesting read. It doesn't take too long to read the book in its entirety, and the content flows together very well. The author wrote this book from the heart, and that is reflected through each and every poem written. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the pictures along with the author's musings. ( )Aquesta ressenya s'ha escrit per al programa Donatius de membres de LibraryThing. This was a book that I had won. It is not the noraml type of books that I would read and that is why it took sometime for me to fully read the book. It is a good book overall and I enjoyed reading it Aquesta ressenya s'ha escrit per al programa Donatius de membres de LibraryThing. At times I did not understand some of the things that were written about -- but if I went back and read them a couple of times I could get a really clear picture. Made really good -- spur of the moment reading and a pick me up at times. Thank you for the opportunity to read your book. Aquesta ressenya s'ha escrit per al programa Donatius de membres de LibraryThing. It is a pleasant book to read, which can you much to ponder. Aquesta ressenya s'ha escrit per al programa Donatius de membres de LibraryThing. The format of the book is haphazard and a little confusing. Accompanying Mark’s prose and words are photographs, which make the content even more distracting; it's hard to comprehend the purpose behind this book. While Mark writes from the heart and his poems are touchingly intimate, I couldn’t quite figure out the message behind the intention. The lessons he tries to impart to his readers, the ladder to their own success, seems a tad bit jumbled and unorganized. Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya
This book is a call to action, a song of grace, whispering softly to anyone listening for the call of inner knowing. For many, the call is so quiet it is perceived as a vague yearning for something more in life. This is the call of the songbird in your heart. This book has a simple intention; to help the reader recognise the simple magnificence of being and point toward the purpose of life. The story is intended to be read on a lazy, contemplative afternoon. It is inspired by the work of Dainin Katagiri, H W L Poonja, Don Miguel Ruiz, Eckhart Tolle and Marianne Williamson. The story is told within the simple, yet beautiful context of everyday life. While no religious and spiritual traditions are promoted, they are all encouraged and respected. It is the author s sincere hope that the readers accept his challenge to take charge of their spiritual life and find their true nature. The book is in two parts. The first is "The Magnificence of Being, A Simple Message of Grace" -- the story of a journey of self-discovery. The second is "Acts of Contemplation, Freedom for a Glad Heart" -- a series of exercises designed to demonstrate the principles of Part I through the reader's own efforts. Illustrated in full-colour to enhance the reading experience. No s'han trobat descripcions de biblioteca. |
