Nossa eu teria abortado o Greg, nunca vi um muleque mais egocêntrico indiota e besta, me surpreendo a cada livro, continuando a ler pra ver ele se fudendo cada vez mais. ( )

children's middlegrade graphic fiction. I have to say, I enjoyed the movie more, but anything that makes kids enjoy reading is fine by me. ( )

I laughed through the book and was continually amazed at how lazy this kid was. ( )

The book I'm reading for this quarter is Diary Of A Wimpy Kid, Dog Days by Jeff Kinney. I chose this book because I was in need of a fast read, as well as one that was humorous and had a high lexile, this book suited all of my needs. So it started off with Greg Heffley not being well prepared for school. In his defense it was the last day of school, but after his last day he went to his crush Holey Hills and asked for her number, she signed his yearbook and wrote down all but 2 digits before she was pulled away by her friends. So of course he goes home and calls that number with every possible two number combination but gives up halfway through. Greg has a friend named Rowley and they go on this roller coaster and then get in trouble. This book doesn't really have “drama” or story lines, the stories are always changing and that's what i like about it. In conclusion this book is basically about dad getting disappointed in his son. But in the end he forgives his son for being a bad son the whole summer.

I would recommend this book for anyone under the age of 8. Although this book has a lexile of 1050 it doesnt show it. It's a good book and did make me laugh a couple of time, but i'm also very immature. As a result anyone that's under the age of 8 this will be a good book for. Anyone over this age this book may be a little bit immature. ( )
