During the reading it gives both pictures and facts about both animals, where they can be found, what they eat, families they have, teeth they have and how powerful they both are. It is a great book for a guided reading group to make predictions on who would win. This book can be a small group discussion because each student makes their own prediction and gives reasoning on why they picked that. I would have this book in my classroom for students to learn how to make predictions and come up with "because" statements.
