Picture-book format implies it's for tots, but it's more for comic-book readers, young fans of graphic novels. I will absolutely look for more by the author. ( ) This book has three story's to it. I am going to talk about the first one. The first story is about a cat named Boots not having anywhere to take a nap on the brick wall outside because all of the other cats were on it and there was no room for him. He decides to put cat fish biscuits on top of the building next to the wall. The cats all build a pyramid to reach the top of the building to get the biscuits, but they soon found Boots eating them and the pyramid of cats fell down. I love that these kinds of story's interest children and that these kinds of books help children learn how to read because they are so humorous and interesting. Growing up as a child, I don't recall ever reading comics, especially in school. In the classroom, I would have the children take turn reading the story a loud. When we finish reading the story, I would bring the students the gold fish snacks to eat. Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya
A wonderful collection of comic tales, told in an engaging comic strip format style, about the lovable but dopey cat, Boots In the first of three hilarious stories told in graphic novel style in this book destined for multiple readings, Boots schemes to regain his prize napping spot from other cats through the use of treats. His next goofy adventure finds him meeting a duck, while the last story portrays the utter ridiculousness of cats attempting to play charades. No s'han trobat descripcions de biblioteca. |
