Then Thorndike came on the scene and began to treat Dr. Jarvis as if he was a child. This treatment went on and on and began to annoy me. Obviously "stupid" Jarvis was used as a comparison to show how brilliant Thorndike was. Net result? I ended up disliking Detective Thorndike thoroughly. What an ego!
