Apunta't a LibraryThing per saber si aquest llibre et pot agradar. No hi ha cap discussió a Converses sobre aquesta obra. Tegan Collins is content with her life. She sings in her family’s Pub, she teachers music to kids and volunteers at the senior center. Sky Mitchell is a rock star hiding out in Maryland. He needs some time to himself as he contemplates the next step in his career, which is most likely a solo career. He hears one of Tegan’s songs and wants it to be his first solo recording. But Tegan won’t sell him the song because he wants to change. After a bit of squabbling the two start working together on Sky’s solo album. What they don’t realize is that someone does not want Sky to leave the bad and will stop at nothing to make sure he stays. While they are writing music they are also falling for each other. The banter back and forth between Sky and Tegan is great. I laughed out loud many times while I was reading the story. I think this is a great story about taking the time to look at someone and not judging them by their looks. Tegan comes across as a folksy singer that wears bright colors. She is looking for a guy that will see beyond the colors and the music. Sky is that guy! It was great to see Tegan have her chance at becoming a star. Not only do Tegan and Sky make great music together (literally) they burn up the sheets as well. Sky took things slow with Tegan and I thought that was great. Again it was great to read more about the Collins clan, I can’t seem to get enough of them! Ruby Tuesday is a great edition to the series and definitely worth reading. Ruby Tuesday Mari Carr Wild Irish, Book Two Sky Mitchell is hiding out in Baltimore, seeking peace and solitude while he struggles with a career decision. Lead singer of popular rock group The Universe, he's thinking of going it alone. Wandering into an Irish pub, he's ecstatic to discover the breakout single for his solo album-but the songwriter doesn't want to sell. One musical challenge later, not only does he win the song, but also a writing partner to complete the rest of the album. Teagan Collins has never aspired to fame and fortune. She's content taking care of family, friends and neighbors, and singing in her family's pub. Working on an album with Sky tests her patience...and her libido. The hot rocker plays her body like a fine instrument, their desire deepening with each song they write. But someone doesn't want Sky to go solo, and is repeatedly trying to sabotage the couple's efforts. Undaunted, Sky wants Teagan to join him onstage at his farewell concert to sing her original, Maybe Tomorrow. If they make it through today. No s'han trobat descripcions de biblioteca. |

It is very well written and flows smoothly.
Both Teagan (Ruby) and Sky (Mitch) are great characters. I found their story interesting and the love scenes were very steamy and very different. However, I think more intensity should have been put in their interactions to each other.
The other characters involved in the story didn't really seem to exist. This took away from the 'Mystery' portion of the story. More depth of these characters was needed to make it more intriguing and emotional.
The answer to the mystery seemed rushed and lacked any real excitement or satisfaction for me. It's hard to feel a threat if you don't have more substantial build up.
A good story, but needed more complexity to hit 5 stars.
