Funny, short poems about bathroom-related topics - certain to delight kids and amuse grown-ups (there's nothing TOO gross). ( )

Summary:
This is a comical children's poetry book that is very entertaining for young readers. This has 21 poems discussing topics such as brushing teeth, bathing, and potty training.

Personal Reaction:
I thought this was such a fun book to read. I even read it to my younger cousin during Thanksgiving and she loved it and laughed the whole time.

Classroom Extension Ideas:
1.) I would use this story more as a teaching lesson. I would discuss the importance of good hygiene in the bathroom and have students tell me why they think hygiene is so important.

2.) Have students create their own bathroom themed poems. ( )

This is a book of poems about bathroom things and problems. The book flows from one bathroom thing to the next. It is full of rhyme, alliteration, consonance and imagery. I think the voice in this book is narrative. This book is a story about bathroom things and problems told by somebody else. ( )

This comical book uses poems ranging from brushing teeth, to hygiene such as going to the bathroom and potty training. This is a funny and silly book for good laughs with fun illustrations

Fun book to teach students about poems. I think educators need to introduce this book properly, since its content might distract students from the lesson if they get carried away. Setting good expectations and classroom management is a must.
