I like this series - not a huge favorite but an enjoyable, reliable series. I'm always happy to see when a new one comes out. ( )

Another good storyline and easy read in this DIY mystery series. I liked the international and computer slants here, though I missed hearing more from the folks of Waterfield in this one. (The idea of a house on an island is neat, though.) I'm looking forward to the next book in the series! ( )

Still loving this series. Avery and Derek are fun together and the work they do on old houses is fascinating. Of course, there has to be a dead body or two but it doesn't keep this coupled down, they get the work done on the house while they figure out the crimes and help out some friends as well.

The house they are working on here is located on an island off the coast of the small town where they live. There is a ferry that makes several trips a day but Derek also has a boat so they can carry smaller supplies to get to work. The house is an old Colonial and needs a lot of work. But, when they are traveling across one morning they find a dead woman floating in the ocean and are again swept up in a crime.

I'll keep watching for more in this series. ( )
