I remember when this first came out, I was super excited to read more of the series. But I'm one of the minority where the open relationship between the characters killed it for me. I wasn't expecting it and it actually ruined my enjoyment of the series as a whole. (I have yet to read the next book, though it looks good) Nothing against the writing, it was excellent, as usual from this author. I do wish that I'd read the reviews before reading this as I don't usually read stories about open relationships. To me, it felt like it was coming out of left field, particularly after Zach's irritation over Tom's probable infidelities in the previous installment and the possessive feeling of his and Angelo's relationship before this. But it was an intriguing look at the different dynamics of the two relationships this series has focused upon and the way each couple approach the issue of fidelity and monogamy. This is a shorter story about all four of the previous characters who go to Vegas together for a weekend (and not, it's not a foursome - get your minds out of the gutter dear readers!!) and is told in alternating perspective of Matt (which is nice because we haven't had that before) and Angelo. It is more about the evolution of Zach and Angelo's relationship I think and it was a welcome addition as it helped to "finish off" their story I think. Also, we get to meet Zach's ex - Jonathon, who features in the next book (although he's not shown in a very favourable light...). Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya

Now I don't know if it's because I've read so much more of the M/M genre. Or that I know what is to come. Or maybe, I've discovered a whole new level of kink that I'm comfortable with...(shush all of you) but I actually really loved this one this time round.
I'm a lot more comfortable with Zach in this book. Actually, here it's Jared that is really annoying me lol. But again; very well written, well rounded characters, coming to life off the page. I'm not ready now to say goodbye to them! ( )
