"Do you ever start reading a book and keep saying to yourself, wow, "I love this book", I kept thinking I just couldn't wait to find out what happened next? When I was asked to read Tales of the Red Moon Clan by author Cherie De Sues I jumped at the chance since I can't get enough of those sexy shifters and reading the blurb I was more than enticed. I thought the above a lot (oh, I just love this book), & there was frankly so much action and it was so well written that I was captured from the moment I started. ( )

District Attorney Sara Hughes doesn't know what she's getting into when she shows up at Simon Daniels’ bar to interview him on one of her high profile cases. She didn't plan on being kissed by one of the hunkiest men she's ever seen and she sure didn't plan on running for her life! Daniels is up to his ears in drugs, murders and extortion and will stop at nothing to deter anyone from interfering in his plans. Sara is assaulted and, in the tussle, manages to grab Daniels' account book—one that he will stop at nothing to get back.

Neol Pallaton, ex-cop, current bounty hunter and a whole lot more, grabs Sara for a quick kiss to avoid being seen by his fugitive. He figures it's about time he kissed her—he's been watching her in court for months, dreaming about things he'll never have. His lifestyle doesn't allow for a lot of women-chasing—he just doesn't have time. His grandfather gave him a gift when he passed; something of great value to Neol and his Native American ancestry: the ability to not only bend nature's forces to his will but to shapeshift. So, when Sara is saved by a cougar in the parking lot of the bar, their story begins.

Running from Daniels' men, the two begin to know each other's dreams and wants. Neol's grandfather told him someday he would find a woman who would accept him and his Navajo heritage. Is Sara the one? Will they live to find out and, most importantly, will the killers be brought to justice? Read along and discover more about the Navajo culture and beliefs than you knew before and see where life leads Neol and Sara. You'll be glad you took the time.

Tales of the Red Moon Clan was well written and the plot, while it’s something that's been put out before, was done in an entirely new light with Neol's power. It kept my interest throughout and, while this is my first Cherie De Sues book, I don't think it will be my last! A really good read! ( )
