A very simple book for children. Full of pictures of the sweetest little dachshund (AKA "Wiener Dogs" or "Hot Dogs") puppies playfully jumping around on a chair until they are too tired to play anymore, then they one by one fall asleep. Just as fast as they fall asleep, they wake up one-by-one and then it's time to play again! A great book to teach small children about basic counting to ten and back down to one. ( )

!0 Little Hot Dogs is a book about ten dachshunds. The book counts the hot dogs and what they are doing from one to ten. Then the book counts down from ten to one. My love for wiener dogs and appreciation for an educational book to teach counting is the only things i enjoyed about this book. ( )

This is a good book to start off with young children. This is a counting book. It starts off with a dog on a chair but another dog wants to sit with him so then the number 2 appears then so forth. ( )

The story begins with one little dachshund sitting on a chair and one after another come other little dachshunds until they're ten of them fast asleep on the chair. Each of them wake up one by one until there is a single dachshund wide awake wanting play. This would be a great story to share with early learners because it could help teach them how to count from one to ten and then backwards from ten to one. ( )
