- Chris Bradford is an author, professional musician and black belt martial artist, best known for his children's fictional series, Young Samurai.
The first Young Samurai book, The Way of the Warrior, was published by Puffin Books in 2008. Disney bought the rights in the same year and are due to publish early 2009.
Chris has also written a number of books on the music business, including the critically acclaimed Heart & Soul: Revealing the Craft of Songwriting (Sanctuary, 2005), Crash Course Songwriting (Omnibus, 2007) and the three-part illustrated series of music business books for teenagers, Record Deals OutLoud, Music Publishing OutLoud and Artist Management OutLoud (Music Sales, 2006).
Before becoming a full-time author, Chris was a professional songwriter, who worked with many successful musicians including Dave Calhoqoun (Ian Brown 'F.E.A.R.'); Ivor Novello winner Iain Archer (Snow Patrol); and the legendary Graham Gouldman (10cc). As an artist himself, Chris performed with James Blunt, at the Notting Hill Carnival and for HRH Queen Elizabeth II.
As a martial artist, Chris joined a Judo club at the age of 8 years and has over 20 years experience in martial arts in various styles including Shotokan Karate, Muay Thai, Aikido and Taijutsu in which he is a black belt. Chris now trains in Iaido and Wado Ryu Karate.

Connor is in Mexico on a job when everything suddenly goes wrong. Dejectedly, he returns home knowing that he failed and his principal and friend paid the ultimate price. He understands that none of his teammates will want anything to do with him after his failure but finds it strange that nobody responds when he requests pick up. When he arrives back at the compound, he realizes that it has been attacked. Steve is dead and everyone except Amir is gone. Connor and Amir go on the run, trying to find out what happened and where the rest of the team has gone, but it isn't long before loyalties are tested and trust becomes a rare commodity.
Fugitive is the last in the Bodyguard series and ends it with a bang. Fevered action and suspense drive this story that is laced with loss and sorrow. It is fitting that since the series began with Connor and Amir that it should also end with these two characters being in the center of the action. As the characters attempt to take down Equilibrium, lies come to the surface that make Connor question who he can trust, but the end of the story is satisfying even if it isn't a totally happy. Overall, Fugitive concludes this series in an enjoyable fashion.… (més)

Charley continues her assignment to protect rock star, Ash Wild, as his tour is plagued by more threats and accidents. When Charley starts to show up in the media after several "accidents," Ash's fans begin to believe that he and Charley are more than employer and employee. Ash's team decides that allowing the world to think that Charley is Ash's girlfriend is a good idea. Charley knows as Ash's bodyguard, there can't be a personal relationship with him, but the longer they pretend to have a relationship, the more likely it is to become a reality.
Traitor has lots of twists and turns, especially at the end of the book that make it a very good addition to this series.… (més)
