This book would be good for primary students. This book is "The Fish and the Cat" by Marianne Dubuc and published in 2019. This book is a wordless book and it goes through the adventure of this cat trying to cat a fish from a bowl. The fish ends up fying through the air and landing in a body of water. This book is a funny, light-hearted book that would be fun to read to young readers. This book would also be good to read when teaching about predicting and inferring and asking questions about what they think will happen next in the book since there are no words to tell you.… (més)

The forest animals learn to share by taking turns caring for someone smaller and more dependent than they are. A well-done lesson for all of us in the form of multiple frame illustrations.
The illustrations by the author are fun, interesting, meaningful, colorful, and delightful.
Well suited for reading WITH someone of any age including ESL, and great for gifting to anyone, but especially to a school or your local public library!
I requested and received a free temporary e-book on Adobe Digital Editions from Chronicle Books/Princeton Architectural Press via NetGalley. Thank you!

Just plain weird. None of my colleagues knew what to make of this book. I mean the fish becomes a bird?! Yeah no.

This book is meant for primary level students. The Lion and the Bird tells a bittersweet tale about a lion who finds an injured bird and nurses him back to health over the winter, though the bird must return to his flock in the spring. This story paints a picture about friendship and goodbyes that may be sad.
This book would be a great story to tell by itself, as it has beautiful watercolor paintings and illustrations that truly make the story what it is. However, it could also be a good lesson for kids struggling with goodbyes, whether it be a friend moving away or having to change schools.… (més)
