There are a lot of different kinds of seeds, that can sprout into all kinds of different things! They can mature into flowers, rich veggies, and sweet fruits. Seeds have a very good lesson, that anyone can learn from - thriving in different environments.

About how things grow from seeds and different things that come from seeds. Also relates this concept to life and kindness. Book is good for independent reading, or maybe reminding students that it is important to be kind. Good for early ages, k-1.

Wonderful early readers book with gorgeous illustrations and delightful story. Some pages include very few words and other pages have a couple sentences. Good choice for young readers, especially those who love to explore the outdoors.

This book starts off as various descriptions of birds that act mostly as comparisons "Some birds are really big. Others are tiny." Then unexpectedly turns more philosophic "A bird's song is like the loving words of a friend... And our hearts sing, too, because birds are like good news coming. Or messages of peace." The illustrations are big and bright.

The descriptions of birds was vague and not really useful for thinking about birds but may be good for learning comparisons. I liked the messages of the second part, but the two parts seemed a little disjointed. The last sentence didn't feel like a good end clause. I like the last sentence, it just didn't seem to fit as an end.

Overall, I kind of like it and kind of think it's just okay. It is not a book my children return to.

Best for young children (under 6 years old).
