I’ve always been so intrigued with the holocaust and all the different books and movies produced by all these terrible experiences many people had to go through. This book specifically talks about a young boy who has to forgot his family and religion is order to survive the holocaust.

Translated from Hebrew. A story about a granny who visits the city and does not have any slippers, so knits them; doe snot have a house, so knits it etc etc. When she wants to join her children (who are also knitted) to school they do not allow her, saying that knitted children do not go to school. But yet the city covets the house she has built.
She unwinds the house and leaves the city for being so ungrateful
