Cyril Parry

Born in Ffestiniog. He was a school teacher and then a college lecturer in Liverpool before joining the History Department at University College, Bangor, as a lecturer in 1964. His main interest is history and contemporary politics. His research area is political radicalism. He wrote a PhD thesis on the politics of Gwynedd between 1900 and 1920 which was published as The Radical Tradition in Welsh Politics: A study of Liberal and Labour politics in Gwynedd, 1900-1920. He is currently a Senior Lecturer in the History Department at Bangor and lives in Menai Bridge, Anglesey [book flap]
