This book was amazing! It's basically about a couple of vampires that go on board a booze cruise and quickly start infecting everyone else.

It was a little slow to start, but once it starts to pick up it's hard to put down. I liked the fact that the book switches between point of views; there are quite a few characters in the book but it doesn't make it difficult to follow along. I also liked how well written everyone was, especially Dan, who actually terrified me at times.

I definitely recommend this if you're looking for a creepy vampire book to read!… (més)

This was a fantastic slow burn horror story and was amazingly well researched. Just a heads up though, it does get a bit distressing at times, as it has a lot of heavy handed topics such as substance abuse, and having elderly parents who have dementia, and most of the story takes place at a nursing home.

The world building was absolutely incredible. I actually felt like I was at Pineshade with the other characters, there was times in the book where I was picturing myself walking down the halls with the main character, Joel and passing by all of residents. The characters were also fantastically well written despite the fact I didn't quite vibe with the main characters, they're all pretty unlikable, but I did like one of the Pineshade residents, Lillemor. She's obsessed with angels, she just seems like the sweetest person ever and it made me very sad that none of her family visited her throughout the course of the novel.… (més)

Esta historia está llena de giros inesperados que logran mantener al lector atento hasta el final. No hay buenos totalmente buenos y no sabes si los malos lo son realmente, las brujas, a pesar de ser las destinadas a salvar el mundo, tienen antes que lidiar con su propia juventud e inexperiencia, lo que, a su vez, las hace más humanas y las aleja de la literatura juvenil rosa y bobalicona que menudo encontramos en estos libros.

Al principio no sabía que esperar y tampoco estaba segura que me estuviera gustando, sin embargo, he de admitir que al final resultó bastante entretenida y me dejó con ganas de seguir con la serie.… (més)
