1854 The Story Of An American Family, by Lucile Driftmier Verness (read 28 May 1984) This is about the Driftmier family of Shenandoah, Iowa, up to Leanna's 90th birthday in 1976. I found it really interesting, though I don't know that I should have. I suppose it is maybe hagiographical, but that is all right. I remember so well as a child hearing Leanna on her radio program, which my mother listened to a lot.
