Very informative book if one is concerned about when is the best time to do things, travel, study, get healthy, and do serious stuff. For instance, Tuesday is the best day to purchase airline tickets and Saturday is the best day to fly out. Also included are best seasons to purchase which fruits/vegies, best time to go shopping, when to apply sunscreen, etc. etc. In the back of the book is his list of sources for all this information. Some serious research going on here! Only thing is this was written in 2009. Might need an update… (més)

Bought this today at a Friends of the Library booksale for $0.50 . Even though I prefer to spell it Catsup, how could I go wrong? One of these strategies is bound to save me 50¢ !

Le fonti sono tuttavia dettagliatissime (circa 30 pagine di riferimenti), e non c'e' nulla di inventato dall'autore, che si è limitato a fare un minestrone di quanto gia', volendo, si può in maggioranza trovare usando il web. Che, oltre alle cose buone, è purtuttavia puntinato da un monte di vaccate.

There was some interesting information to be gleaned, but if you don't want to buy a year's worth of ketchup in May and don't find Thursday a convenient day for clothes shopping, most of the book won't be helpful. In addition, many of the questions seemed like filler or repetitions of the previous answers. For instance, several questions use the information that Tuesday is the most productive day at work, Wednesday the crankiest, and Friday the most relaxed, and several others use that your brain is most awake in late morning and your body in the early evening, with neither of them good for much in early afternoon. You might pick up something useful by paging through it, but it does not warrant a careful read.… (més)
