- I have had a life long interest in the Royal Navy, as evidenced by my library and other subjects of naval history. As I am a software consultant a portion of the library is devoted to business and technical journals. I also collect books on the Renaissance and selected cookbooks. I moved recently and make the difficult decision to donate around 100 books (John LeCarre, Len Deighton, a small collection on espionage) plus others to friends of the local library rather than have to move them.

- Born in the United Kingdom I have lived in the United States since 1956, in Michigan, California and now New Jersey. I am planning to move to NYC later in 2009. I obviously like to read, not much fiction but a lot of history from this century. I like to ski at Aspen and really lead a quiet life. Of late, my cooking regime has been impacted by personal matters but I intend to rectify this in the future.
