Looking for recs. MC is in hollywood?

Hey ladies, I'm looking for some book recommendations. Looking for romance stories based around Hollywood? I'm looking for an MC that is a movie star.

I've already read:
Changing the Script by Lee Winters, Course of Action by Gun Brooke, and two books of Jae's The Hollywood Series.

Any suggestions? Share with me your favorites?

I love these:
And Playing The Role of Herself by KE Lane is my absolute favorite which I reread regularly.
Another favorite is Turning Point by Lara Zielinsky.
And I loved Lee Winters' Breaking Character

And there's also The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Reid Jenkins, which is slightly less romance genre, but still has a romance at its core.

Books I haven't tried yet but that are on my to read list:
The AM Show
This is Devin Jones
Something to Talk About
All that Lies Within
About that Kiss

ETA: And another one that isn't just a lesbian romance, but contains the best lesbian film star name ever:
Plain Bad Heroines

Excellent Hollywood fantasy of the bargain with fae for your talent kind:
Siren Queen
Borderline

Hey thanks for the recs, I'll look into them. Breaking character was good, I forgot to mention that I read it. Changing the script is actually book 2 of that series.

>3 MiserableFlower: Yeah, I'm a little nervous about reading Changing the Script because it's set in NZ.

>4 Aquila: I can understand that. It’s pretty good in my opinion? If you’re not local to NZ id definitely suggest go book or ebook, as you’ll wanna look things up for reference. But the audio book is good too.

Updating cuz I did a quick snoop through your profile. You might actually like it because it feels like a light (but still respectful) poke at Xena. But I’d love to hear an insiders perspective?

Thanks, I'm mostly just wary of reading local stuff that's wrong and throws me out of the novel - still haven't recovered from reading a NZ set uber back in the day in which the main character lived on a ranch. But I do like the idea of poking at the Auckland fantasy TV industry and I know the author is based in Australia, so might be slightly less fractally off base. I'll get around to reading it sometime. Trying to rotate writers I've liked with ones I haven't read yet so I don't read up all the good stuff straight away.

I just finished I Kissed A Girl and I enjoyed it, it's an actress and a makeup artist working on a horror film.

I've visited a (very White) community on the north island that was mostly made up of what Americans might call ranches. I'm guessing the terminology was wrong for the location?

This is off-topic but caught my attention.

On-topic: My recommendation is Guncle by Steven Rowley if you don't mind that the main character is a TV show actor and that the novel not considered a Romance genre book. The romance develops late in the book but is a major part by the story's resolution.

Yes, not having the Spanish language input we have never had ranches, we have farms, and larger farms may be called stations - those are mostly in the South Island, but there are also some in the North Island.

I also read and enjoyed Melissa Brayden's Eyes Like Those last month. Scriptwriter/Showrunner.

Have just finished The Gravity Between Us which is pretty young (protagonists are 19) and kinda lightweight.
