Literal-minded, too much sawing off of limbs. ( )

Like the other book I read by the same author, this is a really good work of historical fiction. I like how it provides a different perspective on piracy in the time of Colonial America. The illustrations are vivid. However, like the other book in the series, despite being a picture book this is probably not appropriate for younger readers. ( )
