This is a very sweet book about an elephant who thinks he is a mouse. The elephants has big ears that is also a characterization of a mouse. Not until he meets a real mouse does he realize he isn't a mouse. This is a great example of diversity. This book is a fantasy. ( )

I found it adorable how Nelly is convinced she is a mouse, after reading the mouse description. The way she has big ears, is the color gray, and a thin tail. But she later meets a real mouse and realizes she is not a mouse.
