The Devil's Right Hand takes us into the world of The Night Walk Men, beings I've come to think of as human puppet masters. They are able to arrange our lives according to plan and intercede whenever necessary. This story gave me chills. It made me think differently about those events we consider accidents, as well as the issue of fate and destiny.

I admit to being a Jason McIntyre groupie. His stories are always brutally honest and refreshingly unique. As with all his books, this one requires an investment of time and attention. Rather than a train ride through the city, this is a hike through a rainforest. The reward is in the journey more so than the destination. ( )
