The first thing I liked in the story was that the song guided them through the path. After they got to each stop they sung the next part of the song until they got to the next. The song played, “The river bank will make a mighty good road, the dead trees will show you the way, left foot, peg foot, traveling on, follow the drinking gourd, “ then they went on to find the river by using the tree map. I also liked that the text made the history topic simplistic and easy to understand., for example, “Before the Civil War many slaves made their way north using stars to guide them.” This text uses simple sentences and appropriate vocabulary making it easier to understand. I think the moral of this story is to fight for what you want no matter what it takes. ( ) Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya
