Wow...., simply WOW.
Annaleise Carr is one of a kind, a very inspirational young woman, who achieved the near impossible, simply because she believed in herself and worked hard, extremely hard, to achieve it.

Many would have cracked under the strain of the punishing training regime, or quit when the weather turned, it's cold, dark, you're in pain and hours off course....but Annaleise kept going and going, regardless of all the obstacles she faced.

Unbelievable, yet true. ( )

In 2012, Annaleise Carr swam across Lake Ontario — the youngest person to date to do so. How she did it and why forms the substance of this short but inspirational text.

The text captures the voice of teenage Annaleise very well, making the book fresh and appealing. All in all, this small package delivers a high-interest hit.
