First, I enjoyed the illustrations of the book. The illustrations went hand-in-hand with the text on the page. Also the illustrations were very detailed and helped explain what was going on in the story. I really enjoyed the page where the author talks about the boy going to the zoo. The illustrations did not take up the whole page but they followed the flow of the text and the illustration went with the word that was on the page. Second, I enjoyed the storyline. I enjoyed learning about the boy and his dog and the trip they take everyday. I liked how the character was developed in a short amount of time, but you feel like you knew him for a long time. He was developed in a couple of pages, but I felt like he was being developed throughout the whole story. Third, I enjoyed the writing of the book. I liked how it rhymed throughout the whole text. I also like how the writing did not take up the whole page of the text and it was below the bottom of the illustrations and did not take away from the illustrations in the book. I would recommend this story to anyone! It was a great read. ( ) "A Possum's Tail" is about a little boy named Sam and his toy dog who go everywhere together. When the little boy gets to the zoo, five possums attach themselves to the little boy's toy dog. The central message of this book is that if you turn your back and don't pay attention, a lot of things can happen. This showed during this book because the little boy was not paying attention to his dog when he walked through the zoo. Also, when the little boy tied the balloons and the possums fly away. You should always pay attention to what you are doing even when you think things are going well. Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya

Follow Samuel Drew and his toy dog as they make their way to visit the possums at London Zoo! Disappointed that the possums are asleep, Samuel heads back the way he came, unwittingly surprising onlookers who notice that the possums have decided to follow him. Children will delight in spotting the differences in streetscapes as Samuel walks to and from the zoo. Written in rhyming verse, this humorous caper beautifully illustrates the richness of cosmopolitan London. No s'han trobat descripcions de biblioteca. |
