It has a great location (sun and beach, bars and parties until late in the night), some wonderful characters and deals with the heart-wrenching issue of amnesia. Who wouldn't be afraid of losing all understanding of who they are, and what their life was like? This story shows not only what such a situation does to the amnesiac, but what the consequences might be for someone who falls in love with such a man. Demetrio has found his niche on Eivissa (Ibiza), and the description of his life had me smiling. Owning a club like he does, getting along with his neighbours and living in tropical surroundings must be wonderful. Of course, this being an AJ story, the peace doesn't last long. I loved the strength with which Demetrio kept up his hopes and good spirits despite all the emotional upheavals that follow. Oceano, the name the stranger adopts while searching for his true identity, is a bit of an enigma, as is to be expected. The sense that he knows more sooner than he reveals it adds to the tension. The final twist is fun and somewhat unexpected. The developing romance between the two, as hesitant as it is initially due to the circumstances, is nevertheless very hot. Emotions are high by the end of the book, just as they should be. If you enjoy slightly exotic locations, hot men and a scorching romance, you will probably like this book as much as I did.
