I was not expecting it to get so sad! ( )

I really enjoyed this odd little book about a little girl who inexplicably lives in a cave and encounters a bear. The girl is sort of like a cross between a feral child and something cuter and less real, like Peter Pan's Lost Boys. But the story isn't about that; it's about fear and misunderstandings. ( )

It is a fairytale book because it use a little wild girl as a character, talking about the old stone age life and how human survive and make friends with animal.
A young girl and a little brown dog live together, alone in the wilderness. Everything has changed when a big bear tries to find her cub in the cave. Finally, they share the cave together in that winter.
It is a nice and warm book. I learn that if you do something good, it will pays back later.
It is a book suit for the early elementary. ( )

Ein kleines Mädchen lebt mit einem Hund alleine in den Bergen. Das ist nicht einfach. Im Sommer kann es fischen und Beeren und Wurzeln sammeln und unter freiem Himmel schlafen. Im Winter aber, wenn alles tief verschneit ist, zieht es sich in eine Höhle zurück. Doch diese Höhle will auch eine Bärenmutter mit ihrem Bärenkind nutzen.
Das Buch ist wundervoll illustriert. Die Kinder lernen, wie schwer das Leben ist, wenn man nicht in der Stadt wohnt, wo man alles im Geschäft kaufen kann. Das Leben in der Wildnis ist aber nicht nur einsam und beschwerlich, sondern auch gefährlich. Die Bärenmutter will aber nur ihr Junges schützen und als sie merkt, dass keine Gefahr für das Bärenkind besteht, bietet sie sogar ein kuscheliges Plätzchen für den Winter.
Ein wunderschönes Kinderbuch. ( )
