A small mouse decides in order to be brave, he needs to learn how to roar. Upon finding a lion in hopes that he'd be taught how to be brave, he finds that the lion is in fact scared of him. they become friends after the mouse consoles the large cat.

This shows students that they don't have to be like anyone else. They are just fine the way they are, and if people can't accept them for who they are, that's just a part of life.

The Lion Inside is about a mouse who wants to be heard by the other animals and wants to learn to find his loud voice. The lion helps him find his roar and how he can be heard by other animals. (
