This was one of the books that I was blessed with in my childhood when my parents tried to help me immerse myself in the beauty of the sea. I have always been fascinated with mermaids and this book was actually a bit more of an introduction into the world of Disney's mer-kingdom that we just get the glimpses of from the movie.

The book isn't emotionally deep or much of a storyline but it will definitely keep the eye of any child interested in a bit of fantasy or the series itself while the uncolored pictures invite you to color them. Just a cute little story to give you a bit of some history for Disney's Ariel. ( )
