A moving story from the perspective of the subject - a paralyzed man who is dependant on his "Sarah" for life's little pleasures. ( )

An illustrated poem of a man reminiscing about his childhood. Each verse ends with ”and if Sarah will take me …” meaning he relies on her for assistance and guidance.

The author wrote this poem for the illustrator who is a paraplegic, paralyzed from the waist down. It is an emotionally charged account of “what ifs”, as the illustrator is a motivational speaker for high school audiences. ( )
