The author first discusses the benefits of blending into ones surroundings whether that be for the predator or the one hiding from the predator. The book gives a short creative poem about the type of animal on one page and then on the next page they display an image where you need to find the animal thats trying to blend in with their surrounding areas and then if you need help you can open the page and it will point out where the animal was hiding. I thought this was a really great book and I loved seeing my students reaction when they were able to actually able to find the animal hiding. ( ) This books looks at all the different creatures that are can camouflage to their surrounding. What makes this book really good informational is it gives the students information but through poem form. There is a poem for each creature that gives the studensts hint of what the creature could be. This allows the students to be engaged and have think time. After the students guess on what the creature is you can turn the page a see what it is. It gives a whole page of information about that creature. I would use this book to introduce habitats and explain how animals live in different habitats around the world, and how they use camouflage to keep themselves safe. I would also use the book to show ways that we can present research during research assignments, or as examples of different poems. Grade: k-3 Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya
