This book is about a bunny who explores though a cottage garden identifying the different colors of flowers. I appreciated the illustrations in this book, as well as the design. This book would be great to read in the spring as the flowers are blooming, then taking your class on an adventure to see if they can identify any of the flowers or colors that bunny came across. ( )

This book could be used throughout elementary school. In kindergarten, it could be used as an interactive read aloud to teach about colors because each place the bunny goes tells about a new color and some kindergarteners may still be learning and remembering what all of the colors are. In grades 1 & 2, it could be used as an interactive read aloud to introduce and teach rhyme because it contains a lot of rhyming in the book and children in these grades are learning about rhyme.

This is a good example of a picture book/fantasy because it has a bunny who goes throughout the area and finds different colors of different types of flowers. It has very detailed illustrations that captures the attention of children.

A cute book for young children, I may use this with my kindergarten group of ELL students. They love learning about different colors, and this can be a fun way to mix it up for them! ( )
