Tales of Rob Wilco, Satchel, and Bucky the marvellous cat.

Another fine collection of a very good, offbeat strip with Rob, perennial nice underdog, who has two talking pets, the affably dumb pooch Satchel, and unifanged Siamese cat Bucky, possibly the most evil protagonist in the funny-animal comic strip universe. And yet, for some reason Rob and Satchel don't have him put to sleep. Most satisfying is the atypical rebellion by Satchel against Bucky's abuse on pgs. 11-12, although it doesn't last. This is a smart, funny, verbally adept strip with a nice sense of culture. ( )

Not the best Get Fuzzy collection (this is the one with the author's uncreative patch of three Bucky duels in extremely quick succession), but the book has its moments. ( )
