Included in the guests at the present time is Miriam Birdseye and her companion Frederick Pyke,a poet. Shortly after their arrival an oyster party is held and needless to say a death occurs the same night. There is the usual collection of odd characters which include Dr.Stalag-Jones and Ezekiel Twigg.
The story as a whole is perhaps a little darker than usual,but still retains quite a few laughs among the darker passages. (
