It did not enhance the House of Night series any for me. I think this would be a cute book to give a Freshman entering high school while introducing them to the series for the first time. I liked that it offered journal sections for the owner (I also liked that I got this book from the library and no one had written in the book).

I loved the idea of a school book for vampires and the art made especially for the book, the papers of the book are like magazine's paper, thick and glossy. ( )

Though the pictures and illustrations are beautiful, I found the content less than enthralling (it is a handbook after all. I got about 35 pages in, skipped around some and decided I was done.

the kindle edition is really not good, and that's the reason why I only gave three stars! Very difficult to read, the font was to clear, so I was squinting away in order to get what was on the different pages. This has never happened before, usually, the kindle edition is just like reading a normal book. Needless to say I was disappointed:( ( )
