We do get to read about Farmer Buckley's exploding trousers, as well as a man having his testicles attacked while under anaesthetic, how mass-produced sushi came to be and how Sydney somehow lies directly underneath the centre of the Milky Way).
Some stories aren't as good as others but there's enough here to keep nerds such as myself entertained for hours. (
