The book is littered with quotations to back up the author's treatise and the overall effect is that the Wordsworths come to life. I had thought of William as an old fashion, fuddy-duddy poet; now, I am eager to pick up a selection of his work: a biography can have little more successful an outcome!
An excellent book. ( )
