Romance. Young Adult Fiction. Young Adult Literature. HTML:

First, I had to remember how to breathe. Then, I had to learn how to survive. Two years, three months and sixteen days had passed since I was the Rowe Stanton from before, since tragedy stole my youth and my heart went along with it.

When I left for college, I put a thousand miles between my future and my past. I'd made a choiceâ??I was going to cross back to the other side, to live with the living. I just didn't know how.

And then I met Nate Preeter.

An All-American baseball player, Nate wasn't supposed to notice a ghost-of-a-girl like me. But he did. He shouldn't want to know my name. But he did. And when he learned my secret and saw the scars it left behind, he was supposed to run. But he didn't.

My heart was dead, and I was never supposed to belong to anyone. But Nate Preeter had me feeling, and he made me want to be his. He showed me everything I was missing.

And then he showed me how to fall.… (més)

This was my first Ginger Scott novel and I loved it. The characters were endearing and I felt truly invested in their story. Well written and thoughtful an absolute must read. I thoroughly enjoyed this book from start to finish. This is the sort of book I can recommend to teens and feel confident that they will enjoy it and that their parents will have no complaints with them reading it. ( )

The feels! This is a sweet new adult book that follows the pattern-broken, damaged girl, super sweet, caring boy, instant love. I don't mind the pattern, but if you do, then this isn't the book for you. The heroine's back story is a bit unique, even if her results are the same (PTSD). I liked that the hero wasn't a jerk alpha male. It seems that in many New Adult books that is the trend and while I think its okay sometimes (Carter Reed is a good example), its nice to see the more normal, sensitive, caring heroes as well. This book did make me cry by the end and I am glad to have read it. I will certainly continue with the series because I loved the secondary characters a great deal as well! (Ty is awesome!)

"I've only known him for about 48 hours, but I've thought about him for 47".

Yep, it's that kind of book. You know, one of those full of cliches and insta-love; some of it annoyed me, but in the end worked and I liked it.

The story doesn't have too much drama and it's kinda funny. Actually I don't get why there are so many reviews where people say that they cried reading this...

So this is not a masterpiece but it's ok if you like fluffy stories to pass the time.

PS: I think that Ty and Cass's story may have more potential, so I'll definitely read You And Everything After. ( )

An absolute must read for everyone who enjoys NA! A beautifully heartwarming story of a young woman attempting to restart her life after suffering through a horrific event. The story and the characters are exquisite and you finish the book feeling as though you personally know them.

I highly recommend this to everyone! ( )
