Small town events in the USA This continues the story of Mark, the autistic postman in Eden, a small town in the USA, son of the Mayor. A victim of bullying, he gets involved in the killing of a cult leader and his following. Yet again he wants answers and his parents have secrets which he is also involved with. This small community where everybody knows everybody else is full of people protecting fugitives from the law and Mark helps to right “wrongs”. The concept is interesting as is the writing. The artwork is well-produced and clear. It’s entertaining and engaging with gore and violence enough for those who like that sort of thing. Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya

"Every town in America has its fair share of quirky characters. Troublemakers. Loval myths and unique traditions. Eden, Wyoming is no exception-- founded by criminals and populated with felons on the run from the law, it's got its own batch of ghosts and eccentrics. With the reappearance of Eden's near-mythic found, and its first recorded murder in over twenty years, something dangerous is bubbling underneath the town's surface. The town's postmaster, and son of the mayor, Mark Shiffron, stands at the center of a small workd teetering on the edge of collapse-- and from a startlng encounter with a new age cult, to the town's annual, cathartic "barn brawl"--Eden sure is turning out to be a cold place to live"-- page 4 of cover. As the story continues over a number of chapters, the authors are continuing to build the momentum toward a confrontation between Mark’s mother and father. The various stories in this volume concern a strange cult that makes the mistake of kidnapping Mark and Eden’s annual “Barn Brawl” a free-for-all boxing match that has Mark helping the underdog. The relationship between Mark and Maggie grows, but is Maggie really being honest or is she manipulating Mark for her own agenda? It also appears that someone very highly placed in the FBI is protecting Eden and I am sure we will be learning more about that in future issues.
While the artwork is fairly standard, it is colorful and clearly helps to connect the reader to the story. Postal is definitely drawing me in with it’s interesting characters and setting. ( )
