Poor relations by Elizabeth Johns

This was a great short story filled with mystery and action- definitely something I did not expect going into this anthology.
I loved the characters especially Jane and Emma. I only wish we could have gotten to know more about them.
Spoilers ahead:
The only drawbacks I can find in the story are the insta-love between Emma and Colin and Jane and William, but it was expected since it is a short story in an anthology.
What I wouldn't give to get a full novel focused on Jane and William! Definitely wish we could hear more from them ^^
Edward & Emily by Heather B. Moore

There is nothing much I can say about this story except I loved it! I would have gladly read an entire novel dedicated to the growing love of E&E, even a sequel about their life as a married couple.
I loved every single character- each and every one of them brought something to the story, and neither felt unnecessary.
This short had so many qualities of a great romance between two strong and admirable leads. On more than one occasion I found myself comparing it to a Jane Austen novel.
Clearly Heather B. Moore has a great talent. I would love to read more from her.

This was a story with a very unusual concept, at least not one I encountered before.
The beginning was a little confusing for me since it took me a few moments to understand Daphne's plan, but after that I was engrossed with every word.
Jaime is such a gentleman *;)* - he is exactly what I would imagine the perfect man is, which is to say not perfect at all.
Again I find myself wishing for a full novel about these two and the entire Woodbridge clan.
This novella was shamelessly cheeky and wonderful.

I am so glad I discovered this anthology! I definitely see myself reading the rest in this series in my near future. Every single story I read in this book was wonderful and worth a full novel of its own.
I would recommend it to every period book lover, romance lover and Jane Austen fan!
