I thought this book was very inspiring. The author expresses himself from a personal point of view as a young boy who is suffering from cystic fibrosis. He gets through the challenges that he faces by using his imagination to make his many wishes come to life. The book shows that people should be given a chance to show their personality and not be judged for their disabilities or physical appearance. I enjoyed how vividly the author describes his imaginations by recalling what he felt as well as what went on around him. I think that this book gives a message of hope to anyone who faces daily challenges and helps them to hold on to their wishes as well. ( )

In this story readers follow a little boy though his everyday life and see how he would change things if he could just wish for it. Teaching children that wishing for things is a great way to make goals for yourself. This is a great book because of the message i holds for young readers. However, not too young, ages 6 on up would be good for this book; due to the amount of words and the length of some. ( )
